Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London

£5 to stand in "the pit", absolute bargain! Every member of the cast was excellent. We went for the Audience Choice on a Saturday afternoon. You're given three choices of play and the one that gets the biggest cheer from the audience is the one they perform. Great way to introduce our children (9 and 11) to Shakespeare as it makes it fun for them. Also, being the Globe it has a certain gravitas over a standard theatre.

I went to go watch a reenactment of machete and it's fair to say I was quite impressed, all the actors were able to play their part quite well and the staff were very professional. We stood for the whole performance and it wasn't too bad although it was long the performance was interesting enough to keep everyone engaged the view from the floor was also quite clear and was not obstructed at all 10/10 experience would definitely recommend but if you can't stand long or your back starts to ache after a while of standing I recommend booking a seated ticket just for better comfort and the view would be better as well.
