The Royal Concertgebouw (Dutch: Koninklijk Concertgebouw, pronounced [ˌkoːnɪnklək kɔnˈsɛrtxəbʌu]) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Most Wednesdays @ 12:30 they have a free production. About a half hour long. The day my wife and I went it was great. Highly recommended

Great venue for classical and modern music alike. The seating in the main hall is simply horrendous, though: the seats are positioned in one line straight behind the ones in front of them, so everybody sees the back of a head instead of the stage. The simple solution would be to offset each row by half a seat.

Such a beautiful place, with a great park next to all the famous museums. Go there on a sunny day, you won't regret it!
