Bunches of Fun Banana Farm Tours, Placencia

We kept driving by the signs when we were visiting Placencia and decided to call and book a tour. Best thing we could have done on our vacation. The cost was inexpensive and the value, out of this world. The tour was in english and incredibly informative. I now have a much greater appreciation for the bananas that show up at the grocery store. The tour gives information on how it goes from plant all the way through transportation to the store. Having been on many "farm tours" while travelling internationally, this was one of the best. It was delivered at a level suitable for all ages, including children. The banana chips were absolutely delicious.

Glad we found this gem of a Belizean experience! We learned a lot about the banana industry. The tour was led by a family member who is originally from the US. Great hospitality and depth of knowledge from an international agricultural educator. Highly recommend! And the fried banana chips at the end of the tour are delicious!
