  • This place is unlike no other. Jessie Young and her son, Conway Young, have the most incredible sanctuary with the biggest hearts. They empower the local community with knowledge and employment opportunities. The tour guides make you feel right at home and give you the experience of a lifetime full of native plant and wildlife facts! Seeing the black howler monkeys in their natural habitat was more incredible than I ever thought it would be.
  • Our experience here was amazing! Robert was our guide, and we learned SO much from him. He called for the howler monkeys and one did come down to snack on a few leaves, she was beautiful! Learned a lot about the plants, ants, termites, etc along our walk. When we returned from our hike we had the great pleasure of meeting Elvis, who was working on his wood carvings which were all beautiful, so we made a few purchases. Visited with Elvis a while, then he shared his lunch of tamales with us! I love Belize!
