You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Get in touch with nature at Palatinus Strandfürdő and Margaret Island. Do some cultural sightseeing at Fisherman's Bastion and House of Terror Museum. When in Budapest, make a side trip to see Eger Castle in Eger, approximately Eger away. There's still lots to do: boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), wander the streets of Vaci Street, and make a trip to Andrassy Avenue.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiport is Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 25°C, and evening lows to 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
