Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
On the 2nd (Sat), spend a day ambling around Vrelo Bosne. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Bascarsija, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Igman, make a trip to Sarajevo War Tunnel, and see the interesting displays at Galerija 11/07/95.
