  • The Best Places to Visit in Budapest Every city I've ever been to has its own vibe. For example, Prague is friendly, and Vienna is artistic. But the most welcoming of them all is definitely Budapest. It is not crowded and very compact. It is by far the best city to explore and truly enjoy with a loved one or with the whole family, without sacrificing the feeling of comfort and tranquility. As you'll read in the article, there are a variety of places you can see and things you can do, from ancient castles to food markets and everything in between. The Budapest Parliament This impressive landmark is the jewel of the crown of Budapest and the location of the Hungarian national assembly. It is located on the banks of the Danube River and can be seen from virtually anywhere in the center of Budapest. The architecture of the building was inspired by the British Parliament, hence its characteristic neo-Gothic peaks. However, this does not take away its authenticity, since, unlike its British inspiration, the Hungarian counterpart is perfectly symmetrical and has neo-Renaissance elements, which makes it truly iconic and unique in its class. The building was officially opened in 1896 on Hungary's 1000th anniversary, and has since been the site of the national assembly. The parliament building is open to visitors every day. Vá Street Vaci Street is the tourist center of the center of Budapest. The atmosphere is very European: this is a busy shopping street full of old buildings with intricate architectural details. Here you can choose to relax in a café, in a restaurant or in a store of exclusive and high-end brands. In addition, Váci Street takes you directly to Vorosmarty Square, where the traditional Christmas market is held every invierno.la The "Chain Bridge", as the Hungarians call it, is one of the most important landmarks in the history of Budapest, as it symbolizes the unification of the 2 cities on the banks of the Danube that would become the Hungarian capital, Buda and Pest. The bridge is actually named after Istvan Szechenyi, one of the most important figures in 19th-century Hungarian trade and politics. During the Second World War...

  • We visited Budapest in may, really nice town! But I will not dwell on the various places or monuments all to see, but I would like to invite you, in case you want to visit the city, arrange by tourist buses that make the tour of the city. I'm really comfortable there is the possibility to descend and ascend at will between the various stops, the cost is 27.00 per person well spent. Among the monuments site you should definitely not miss is the central market ... There are no words to see ... Then if you like salami buy their Hungarian salami, broken and smoked. Outstanding!!!
