  • The Turkish Rudas bath would also be to Turkey's highest honour. Well renovated, it has retained the charm of centuries past. However, this has also been talked about among the many tourists. You should therefore definitely go in the morning and then treat yourself to a massage. All not cheap but worth the price.

  • Rudas baths have one of the best views of the Danube from the rooftop pool and sundeck. Check out the night baths every Friday and Saturday from 10pm until 4am. The best time to go is around midnight, but make sure you get to the rooftop pool before they turn off the city lights along the Danube around 12:45am.
  • Fantastic to visit the historical thermal bath from medieval era albeit being rebuilt many times. You can feel the spirit of those days. There's cold and warm pools and sauna. The new part I didn't like too much, the only reason you would pay extra is for the outdoor thermal bath with view of Budapest at night! Kiraly bath is much cheaper and similar.
