  • It was one of the buildings of the art zone near the Lakotch Bridge of the Danube River. South of the National Theater is the Art Palace and the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the West has a unique shape.

  • Getting acquainted with the sights of Budapest, being in it on rest, visited and this wonderful place. From the Petefi Bridge on tram № 2 you need to pass one stop towards the Rakocsi bridge and pass a little forward and to the right to the river. Very original square with figures of actors performing their roles. The entrance to the alley opens a stylized theatrical curtain. Flowing water with the nose of a ship passing by sunken antique columns. The place is pleasant, recommend to visit.

  • One of the best in whole Budapest if you still love the historical way of watching dramas. This place reminds me of theaters in the twentieth century. Being one of the beautiful city of Europe they trying to preserve the fine arts and passion all over the building. Worthy place to visit if you are in Budapest. Well deserved five stars 🌟 from my own experience.
  • Naturally, the pieces vary and people will like them to different degrees depending on their tastes. Most of the pieces are in Hungarian naturally, but there is one piece of Shakespeare's works in short form that is in English (there are occasionally a few Hungarian words in it though). It was very entertaining and I highly recommend it. The building is vast, professionally equipped, and beautiful. In the summer, the outside architecture makes it seem as though the whole theater were on a boat sailing the Danube's waters. It's interesting to check out from the outside even if you don't have tickets for a show.
